ASEAN-EU relations are partnerships between two regional cooperation organizations on two different continents but pursuing similar goals of maintaining peace, promoting regional prosperity, and contributing to world security and development. The year 2022 is important to mark the 45th anniversary of the establishment of relations between the two most prestigious regional organizations of Asia and Europe. Attending the workshop were Ms. Caroline DE BOISSET - Political Attaché, European Delegation to Vietnam, Prof. Kriengsak Chareonwongsak - President of the Institute of National Construction, Senior Fellow at Harvard University, Outstanding Artist - Labor Hero Le Cong Co - Chairman of the Board of Duy Tan University, Ts. Le Nguyen Bao - Rector of Duy Tan University, Ph.D. Hoang Thi Huong - Permanent Vice Rector of Duy Tan University School of Foreign Languages and Humanities. The seminar was also attended by scientists from Italian, Portuguese, French universities, professors and phD students from universities and research institutes of Thailand, India and Vietnam.

The seminar took place in 3 sessions:

* The first session: ASEAN-EU Strategic Partnership: Objectives, nature and solutions for realization.

* Second session: ASEAN-EU Strategic Partnership: Opportunities and challenges in the changing international environment in the Indo-Pacific region.

* Final session: Vietnam's role and contributions in the process of realizing the ASEAN-EU Strategic Partnership.

The workshop pointed out the opportunities and challenges that ASEAN and the EU are facing in the process of realizing the Strategic Partnership, identifying the role and possible contributions of Vietnam in the process of realizing the ASEAN-EU Strategic Partnership. The workshop also received a lot of solutions and valuable comments from participants.

Over the past nearly half century, ASEAN and the EU have cooperated based on shared values and interests. The long journey with many positive developments has concretely demonstrated the increasingly comprehensive and dynamic ASEAN-EU cooperation, contributing positively to the peace, stability and prosperity of the two regions, as well as the globe.
