On the afternoon of July 13, 2026, Duy Tan University hosted a reception for the delegation of the Chinese Consulate General in Da Nang. The meeting took place in a solemn atmosphere to introduce the new responsible personnel of the Consulate, while also reviewing and evaluating the educational and training cooperation outcomes between the two parties over the past period.

Attending the working session, on the side of the Chinese Consulate General in Da Nang, were Mr. Yang Shunfeng – Deputy Consul General, and Mr. Zhao Yi – the new Deputy Consul General. On the side of Duy Tan University, present were Dr. Nguyen Huu Phu – Vice Director of Duy Tan University; Dr. Hoang Thi Huong – Acting Dean of the University of Languages and Social Sciences (ULSS); Dr. Dang Thuy Lien – Vice Dean of ULSS cum Head of the Chinese Language Faculty, along with representatives from the International Cooperation Office and specialized faculty members.

During the working session, the Consulate representative officially introduced Mr. Zhao Yi as the new Deputy Consul General in Da Nang, while affirming that the Consulate will continue to maintain and strengthen educational support policies for the university.
