On the morning of July 4, 2026, the Korean Language Faculty, University of Languages and Social Sciences (LHSS), solemnly coordinated with the Korea Foundation (KF) to organize the "2026 Korean Cultural Festival." This year's event held special significance as it incorporated the celebration of the 5th anniversary of the Korean Language Faculty, marking a journey of establishment and development with many proud achievements in training and international connectivity.

The program was honored to welcome Mr. Woo Huyng Min – Director of the Korea Foundation (KF) in Vietnam. In his address at the ceremony, Mr. Woo Huyng Min highly appreciated the efforts and training outcomes of Duy Tan University's Korean Language Faculty over the years, affirming that the KF will continue to accompany and promote academic exchange activities, strengthening the friendly cooperative relationship between the two countries.

Dr. Hoang Thi Huong – Dean of LHSS – shared her proud emotions regarding the 5-year journey of the Korean Language Faculty. To commemorate this meaningful milestone, representatives of the leadership from both sides exchanged fresh flowers and commemorative gifts, demonstrating the strong bond between the university and the KF.

Following the solemn ceremony, the entire festival space transitioned to practical experiential activities and lively competitions. This was the playground for students to demonstrate their deep understanding of the "Land of Kimchi" through a diverse range of content:

• K-Culture Quiz stimulating thinking: The knowledge challenge segment, revolving around hot topics such as K-Pop, films, language, and Vietnam-Korea cultural exchange platforms, attracted enthusiastic participation from a large audience vying for attractive prizes.

• Hanbok and Taekwondo Experience: Students had the opportunity to dress in flowing traditional Hanbok attire or powerful Taekwondo uniforms to capture unique commemorative moments at the festival's check-in space.
• Korean Culinary Competition: The hall atmosphere became incredibly lively with the cooking competition among teams. Traditional dishes such as tteok, kimbap, and various snacks were prepared and beautifully decorated by the students, showcasing the refinement of East Asian culinary culture.

The program concluded with a solemn awards ceremony for outstanding individuals and groups in the commemorative photo and culinary competition segments. The event was not merely an entertainment playground but also a space for Korean Language Faculty students to affirm their personal identities and integration capabilities.
