Introduction to The Faculty of Law

The Department of Law under the School of Languages and Social Humanities, Duy Tan University, was formerly the Division of Law within the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities. Over more than two decades of development, the Division continuously strengthened its academic reputation through a team of highly qualified, dedicated, and dynamic faculty members with strong professional expertise.

Recognizing the growing demand for legal professionals in Vietnam's socio-economic development strategy, the Vietnamese Government has identified legal human resources as a critical foundation for sustainable economic, political, and social development. To meet this demand and support the long-term goal of offering graduate programs in law in the Central and Central Highlands regions, Duy Tan University officially established the Department of Law on August 7, 2017, under Decision No. 2232/QĐ-ĐHDT issued by the University President. Since its establishment, the Department has contributed significantly to addressing the shortage of qualified legal professionals in Vietnam, particularly in the Central and Central Highlands regions.

Today, the Department consists of 23 full-time faculty members and one administrative assistant, including one Associate Professor, eight PhD holders, and fourteen lecturers with master's degrees. The Department is further supported by distinguished visiting professors, associate professors, and legal scholars from leading law schools, research institutes, and government agencies across Vietnam.

Committed to integrating teaching with applied research, the Department continually enhances faculty expertise and professional practice to ensure high-quality education that meets the evolving needs of society.

Academic Programs

The Department currently offers two undergraduate degree programs:
