On the morning of June 29, 2026, Duy Tan University solemnly held the Opening Ceremony of the "Blue Ladder 2026" International Student Exchange Project. This event is part of the strategic cooperation framework between Sun Moon University (South Korea) and Duy Tan University, opening a dynamic space for academic exchange, cultural and linguistic interaction for the young generations of the two countries. In this framework, the University of Languages and Social Sciences (LHSS) plays the key role as the leading unit, taking primary responsibility for language instruction and coordinating the entire series of experiential activities.

The "Blue Ladder" Project is an iconic program initiated by Sun Moon University in collaboration with various higher education institutions worldwide. The core objective of the project is to bring students to different countries to experience firsthand the local culture and people. The summer of 2026 marks the 4th consecutive year the program has been successfully implemented at Duy Tan University, attracting over 130 student participants over the years.

Immediately following the opening ceremony and group photo sessions by connection groups, Sun Moon University students toured the facilities and had their library cards issued at Duy Tan University. According to the schedule, the project will run from June 28 to July 25, 2026, with a diverse and enriching activity schedule. Korean students will participate in intensive Vietnamese and English language classes interspersed with practical activities. The itinerary includes: team-building at My Khe Beach; visits to partner enterprises; and a series of cultural heritage exploration journeys including Cam Thanh Coconut Village, Hoi An Ancient Town, the Dong Giang Heaven Gate Scenic Complex, Ba Na Hills, and Cham Island.

As the core unit responsible for the academic content of Blue Ladder 2026, ULSS directly oversees the design and delivery of intensive language courses for the Korean student delegation. Leveraging its strength in experienced faculty, the Korean Language Faculty and the English Language Faculty (under ULSS) will serve as the direct bridge to help the 30 Sun Moon University students quickly overcome language barriers. Basic Vietnamese lessons help international students easily integrate into local life, while advanced academic and communicative English classes stimulate global thinking, creating a foundation for students from both nations to discuss, work in teams, and gain a deeper understanding of each other's history and cultural values.
Not limited to classroom spaces, ULSS is also the unit responsible for establishing and operating a rich series of practical experiential, cultural exchange, and social responsibility activities: Meaningful volunteer activities at the Hoa Mai Orphanage Center, Cultural Exchange Festival, and Gala Dinner.

The Opening Ceremony of the "Blue Ladder 2026" Project concluded successfully, marking the beginning of a dynamic summer program. The proactive and professional approach of the University of Languages and Social Sciences in managing instruction and event organization is the decisive factor, promising a brilliantly successful project season and affirming the university's position on the international educational cooperation map.
