The signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between DTU and Jissen Women's University, Japan, took place


On the morning of August 6, 2024, Duy Tan University signed an MOU with Jissen Women’s University, Japan, to implement a student exchange program. This collaboration was made possible through the efforts of the Department of Japanese, Faculty of Language and Social Sciences (LHSS), following discussions that began around October 2023.

Attending the ceremony from Jissen Women's University were Professor Namba Masanori - President, Professor Nakayama Tomokazu - Director of the Language Education and International Programs Center, Mr. Uchida Yusuke - Head of the University’s Office, and Ms. Wakasugi Saki - Career Counseling Specialist. Representing Duy Tan University were Dr. Le Nguyen Bao - President, Dr. Nguyen Huu Phu - Vice President and Head of LHSS, Dr. Hoang Thi Huong - Permanent Vice President of LHSS, Dr. Nguyen Duc Hien - Head of the Department of Corporate Relations and Entrepreneurship, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Bich Ha - Head of the Department of Japanese, MSc. Trinh Thi Ngoc Trinh - Vice Head of the Department of Japanese, Mr. Nguyen Duc Anh Tuan - Vice Head of the International Relations Office, along with a large number of faculty members and students who were interested in attending the event.

The cooperation agreement between DTU and Jissen Women’s University marks an important step in expanding international relations and promoting academic exchange. In an effort to strengthen cooperation, Duy Tan University and Jissen Women’s University have agreed on the following objectives:

  • Duy Tan University’s Department of Japanese will send students with good academic performance and active participation in clubs, extracurricular activities, etc., to participate in the student exchange program at Jissen Women’s University, Japan. Each exchange will involve two students for a period of 6 months or one year.

  • The Department of Japanese and the International Relations Office will coordinate the reception of Japanese students from Jissen Women’s University to participate in the exchange program.

  • The two universities will allow their students to organize online or face-to-face exchange sessions.

Through this program, students from both universities will visit each other's countries, attend classes, and participate in various activities to enhance their knowledge and cultural understanding, as well as teaching methods. The signing ceremony was not only an important event in the partnership between DTU and Jissen Women’s University but also a memorable milestone in the efforts to improve the educational quality and research at both universities. Both parties are committed to working closely together to implement cooperative activities and achieve great successes in the future.
