In line with the Ministry of Education and Training's policy on education based on societal needs, aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of business cooperation in the process of training, research, and solving employment issues for students, after a period of negotiation, on the afternoon of May 16, 2024, Duy Tan University signed a cooperation agreement with Route Inn Group, AIDEM Company, and Shinseidai Trading and Service Co., Ltd. The relationship was established through the Japanese Language Department of the University of Foreign Languages - Social Sciences & Humanities (UFLSH). This is one of the activities aimed at strengthening the cooperation between the Japanese Language Department and Japanese businesses.


The ceremony was attended by Mr. Kawakoya Yasuhiro - Representative of Route Inn Group and Head of Operations Support, Mr. Kogo Toshiaki - Representative of AIDEM Company and Head of the International Group, Ms. Kato Ayako - Representative of AIDEM Company and Assistant, Ms. Thi Bich Hanh Truong - Representative of AIDEM Company and Interpreter, Ms. Ngoc Tuong Vi Ngo - Deputy Director of Shinseidai Trading and Service Co., Ltd., and Mr. Tuan Anh Nguyen - Deputy Director of Shinseidai Trading and Service Co., Ltd. On the side of Duy Tan University, there were Dr. Huu Phu Nguyen - Vice-Rector of Duy Tan University and Rector of UFLSH, Dr. Thi Huong Hoang - Vice-Rector of UFLSH, MSc. Thi Ngoc Trinh Trinh- Deputy Head of the Japanese Language Department, and many students from the department.
According to the agreement, Duy Tan University will collaborate with Route Inn Group, AIDEM Company, and Shinseidai Trading and Service Co., Ltd. in the following areas:
- Duy Tan University, through the Japanese Language Department, will send students who wish to intern at the Route Inn hotel chain in Japan to participate in a one-year internship program managed by AIDEM Company and Shinseidai Trading and Service Co., Ltd.
- AIDEM Company and Shinseidai Trading and Service Co., Ltd. will work with the Japanese Language Department to organize seminars introducing the one-year internship programs in Japan for second- and third-year students of the department, as well as job opportunities in Japan for final-year students.
- AIDEM Company and Shinseidai Trading and Service Co., Ltd. will be responsible for organizing, implementing, managing, and supporting students from the Japanese Language Department in the one-year internship program in Japan. Route Inn Group will be the entity that receives the students for their internships.
To support and provide opportunities for students to improve their Japanese language skills and gain exposure to job opportunities in Japan, Shinseidai Trading and Service Co., Ltd. will also award N4 scholarships to 10 students from the K29 cohort of the Japanese Language Department who have excellent academic records and are facing financial difficulties. These scholarships include 3 full scholarships (100%) and 7 half scholarships (50%).
The signing ceremony marks the foundation for creating many opportunities for students in the Japanese Language Department to experience real-world practices and the corporate culture of Japan. It is hoped that the relationship between the institutions will continue to develop and thrive in the future.
