The Party Organization of the ULSS: Integrating Technological Thinking with Political Mettle in the Digital Era

In the solemn atmosphere leading up to the 136th anniversary of the birth of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2026), the Student Party Cell of the University of Languages and Social Sciences (ULSS), under the Party Organization of ULSS, successfully organized a Symposium on the theme: "Ethical Awareness in the Era of Artificial Intelligence (AI)." The event was made even more meaningful with the admission ceremony for new Party member Nguyen Le Anh Vu, an exemplary youth.

Ethics in the Digital Era: Perspectives from Young Communists

Against the backdrop of the explosive Fourth Industrial Revolution, artificial intelligence (AI) is permeating every aspect of life, from learning and research to media activities. The symposium created a profound academic and political forum, helping the student Party members better understand the role, impacts, and ethical challenges posed by AI.

Delegates and speakers at the program focused on discussing how to apply Ho Chi Minh's thoughts, ethics, and style – particularly his spirit of lifelong learning and responsibility to the people – to mastering science and technology. The symposium affirmed that no matter how advanced technology becomes, the core human values and ethical responsibility remain the guiding compass for all actions. The use of AI must be purposeful, compliant with the law, and consistent with national cultural norms.

The New Party Member Admission Ceremony: Continuing Tradition and Mettle

Immediately following the symposium, the Student Party Cell of ULSS solemnly held the Party Admission Ceremony for exemplary youth Nguyen Le Anh Vu – a third-year student of the Faculty of Social Sciences & Humanities. This is well-deserved recognition for Anh Vu's continuous efforts in both academic study and ethical development.

Under the Party flag, the national flag, and the portrait of the great President Ho Chi Minh, comrade Nguyen Le Anh Vu pledged absolute loyalty to the Party's goals and ideals, committing to excellently fulfill the duties of a Party member and contribute his youthful energy to the development of the university and his homeland. The admission of a typical student from the Social Sciences disciplines during a program discussing technology demonstrates the harmonious balance between developing modern thinking and maintaining steadfast political resolve.

The program conveyed a powerful message to all student Party members: They must always be pioneers in approaching new technologies, while simultaneously preserving a "pure heart and clear mind." Each young Party member must be an exemplary digital citizen, capable of filtering information and using AI as a tool to support humane and socially responsible practices.

The symposium and the New Party Member Admission Ceremony concluded with shared pride and determination from the collective of the ULSS Student Party Cell, Party Organization of ULSS. This activity was not only a practical celebration of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday but also contributed to building a generation of Duy Tan young Party members with sufficient knowledge and resolve to master the future in the volatile era of artificial intelligence.
