On the afternoon of April 16, 2026, the Preliminary Round of the "DTU 2026 MC Talent Search" competition took place in an exceptionally vibrant and exciting atmosphere. This is a professional playground organized by the University of Languages and Social Sciences (LHSS) to discover and nurture confident hosting talents for upcoming major events.

Following the launch, the competition received significant attention from students, with an impressive number of registrations. From this pool, the Organizing Committee selected outstanding candidates to enter the Preliminary Round—where contestants had the opportunity to directly demonstrate their hosting abilities, stage presence, and individual charisma. This round served as a "refining" process to identify potential talents to advance to subsequent rounds.

From the very first minutes, the atmosphere in the hall became electrified with the appearance of contestants dressed in polished attire and exuding confident poise. Each contestant had a limited time to present their performance, featuring diverse content such as event hosting, talkshow moderation, gameshow hosting, or creative self-introductions. The serious investment in scripts, vocal delivery, and expression resulted in colorful and captivating performances.
A distinctive feature of this year's Preliminary Round was the diversity in performance styles. Some contestants opted for a gentle, emotive hosting style; others made their mark with humor and flexibility; while several impressed with a professional, confident demeanor reminiscent of seasoned MCs. This demonstrates the increasingly high quality of contestants, reflecting their serious preparation and deep passion for the field of hosting.
