Nguyen Thi Hoai Phuong, a K26 student majoring in Tourism English at Duy Tan University's School of Foreign Languages - Social Humanities is the candidate of Da Nang city to participate in Miss Vietnam 2023.

Hoai Phuong won the Miss English Faculty Award held in 2021. In addition, the 3rd year student also received a scholarship to the Center for Premier International Language Studies in Cebu City, Philippines.

As a victim of verbal violence, specifically "body shaming", Hoai Phuong once weighed 72kg and suffered harsh scorn because her body did not meet the standard proportions. Coming to the Miss National Vietnam 2023 pageant, the girl wants to give herself a chance to overcome barriers and awaken her inner value. Hoai Phuong also wants to represent those who have been judged, hurt or excluded to raise their voices to honor their own individuality and uniqueness.

"Live your own way" - that is the message that Hoai Phuong wants to spread to everyone through this contest. Let's follow and support Hoai Phuong at the journey of Miss National Vietnam 2023.
