In today’s highly competitive job market, building and perfecting an impressive CV is more important than ever to help you initially conquer and attract the attention of employers, thereby increasing your career opportunities. With the aim of equipping students with this invaluable skill in CV creation, the School of Language and Social Sciences (NN-XHNV) at Duy Tan University organized the workshop "MagnetCV - The Toolkit for Employers to Find You" on the morning of June 16, 2024, at the G Building Hall, 120 Hoang Minh Thao Street.

The event featured the participation of blogger Nguyen Ngoc Long, a communication expert and founder of Trang Den Media, Mr. Truong Hoang Ky, Director of the Trang Den Fund, Mr. Khanh Lifetech, Director of Strategy and Information Technology at Metric Data Science JSC, and Mr. Vuong Nguyen Binh, AI Marketing Expert. From NN-XHNV, the event was attended by Dr. Hoang Thi Huong, Vice President, M.A. Truong Thi Nhu Hang, Head of the General Department, Dr. Nguyen Van Duong, Head of the Department of Social Sciences, as well as many professors and students interested in the event.

The event was co-organized with the IRIS English System, a reputable English training center with thousands of students, dedicated to equipping learners with essential skills and confidence. Following the success of last year's talk show “Starting a Business from Social Media - The Secret to Earning Income for Gen Z,” the Trang Den Fund continued its support for this event, with professional sponsorship from the Trang Den Team. The university leadership expressed their gratitude by presenting certificates of appreciation to the IRIS English System for connecting the speakers, and to the Trang Den Fund and all speakers for their valuable contributions to the event.

Under the theme "MagnetCV - The Toolkit for Employers to Find You," the speakers provided highly engaging and insightful information for students. Blogger Nguyen Ngoc Long introduced the concept of personal branding, BrandME, and MagnetCV by helping students identify their appearance, values, talents, personality, knowledge, experiences, products, and achievements. After the guidance from Mr. Khanh Lifetech and Mr. Vuong Nguyen Binh, students learned how to implement MagnetCV using AI, making it easier for employers to find them.

The workshop was not only an academic exchange but also a valuable opportunity for students to prepare and develop themselves comprehensively for their future careers. This initiative helps students feel more confident when entering the job market and equips them with the key elements for success in job searching in the future.
