LHSS’s New Graduates Ready to Begin Their Journey

On June 18, 2025, the University of Languages and Social Sciences (LHSS) held a joyful and proud Graduation Ceremony for the 2024-2025 academic year. The event celebrated 414 new graduates from the Faculty of Social Sciences & Humanities, Faculty of Law, and the English, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese Language Departments. This ceremony honored the students’ hard work and marked their readiness to start new adventures.

The event welcomed notable guests, including Ms. Tran Thi Le Chi, CEO of Rong Tien Sa Media and a member of the Da Nang Young Entrepreneurs Association, and Mr. Nguyen Minh Nhut, Founder of Henry Nguyen Company Limited. Representing Duy Tan University were Dr. Nguyen Huu Phu, Vice President of Duy Tan University and Principal of LHSS, and Dr. Hoang Thi Huong, Permanent Vice Principal of LHSS, joined by faculty, staff, parents, and graduates. The atmosphere was filled with smiles and tears of happiness, celebrating the graduates’ growth and achievements.

In his speech, Dr. Nguyen Huu Phu expressed pride in the students’ success. He encouraged them to keep learning, maintain strong ethics, and uphold Duy Tan University’s traditions. Dr. Hoang Thi Huong reviewed the academic year, praising the students’ remarkable accomplishments.

Phan Minh Quynh Giao, Valedictorian of the Multimedia Communication program, spoke on behalf of the graduates: “University was more than the start of our dreams. It was where we faced challenges, pressure, and youthful mistakes. Our teachers guided us with care and passion, teaching us that learning is about responsibility, sharing, and love. These lessons will guide us forward.”

To honor outstanding graduates, Henry Nguyen Company Limited partnered with the university to award 12 scholarships of 1 million VND each. Mr. Nguyen Minh Nhut presented these to students who excelled in academics, participated actively in activities, or overcame difficult circumstances.

The ceremony’s highlight was the degree conferral. As graduates received their diplomas, their handshakes and smiles reflected pride, joy, and a hint of nostalgia for their time at LHSS, the place that helped their dreams take flight.

The event ended with shared happiness among faculty, students, and parents. As the 414 LHSS graduates left campus, they were ready to explore new opportunities, carrying their dreams, ambitions, and commitment to contribute to the nation’s future.
