On the afternoon of November 9, 2025, at the 4th-floor Hall - 03 Quang Trung, the University of Languages and Social Sciences (LHSS), Duy Tan University solemnly held the program "Welcoming Freshmen of Cohort K31 & The Grand Final of LHSS's Got Talent 2025 - Shining Talents." More than just an introductory gathering at the start of the academic year, the program was also a meaningful tribute celebrating the 31st anniversary of Duy Tan University's founding (November 11, 1994 – November 11, 2025) and the 43rd Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2025) – intertwining knowledge, gratitude, and the humanistic spirit of students. The program was regarded as a special spiritual gift to the Freshmen of Cohort K31 joining the common home of LHSS - where knowledge, creativity, and humanistic spirit converge.

Welcoming Freshmen of Cohort K31 - Beginning the Journey of Knowledge and Passion

Attending the ceremony were People's Teacher, Labor Hero Le Cong Co - Chairman of the University Council of Duy Tan University, university leaders, representatives from the Chinese Consulate General in Da Nang, along with numerous businesses, sponsors, faculty, and students from various cohorts. In his congratulatory speech, Mr. Le Cong Co conveyed a profound message: Duy Tan students must always nurture great aspirations, immerse themselves in knowledge, and constantly innovate to contribute to the community.

One of the program's most meaningful moments was the presentation of merit scholarships to students facing hardships who have achieved outstanding results in both academic performance and training. The Chinese Consulate General in Da Nang awarded 10 scholarships, each worth 10 million VND, to 10 students from the Chinese Language Faculty, aiming to encourage their learning spirit and enhance cultural exchange between the two countries. Representing the Consulate, Ms. Dong Bich Du shared her joy in accompanying LHSS students and wished them continuous effort in their studies and in spreading positive values within the school environment. Additionally, the Danang Trade Union Hotel also presented 2 scholarships, each valued at 1 million VND, for students of the English Language Faculty - a humanitarian gesture providing further motivation for young people on their path to conquering knowledge.

Representing the Organizing Committee, Dr. Hoang Thi Huong and Dr. Dang Thuy Lien presented flowers to thank the sponsoring entities, including: the Chinese Consulate General in Da Nang, Henry Nguyen One Member Limited Liability Company, and the Danang Trade Union Hotel, for consistently partnering with the University in supporting and developing students.
