LHSS Welcomes Dongseo University (South Korea)


On the afternoon of December 13, 2024, at Duy Tan University, a meeting and information exchange session about scholarships took place between Dongseo University (South Korea) and the School of Languages, Humanities and Social Sciences (LHSS). The event provided an opportunity to learn about scholarship programs for students majoring in Korean Language at Dongseo University.

Representing Dongseo University (South Korea) were Mr. Lee Jong Myung – Director of the Dongseo Vietnam Office, Ms. Lee Yena – Head of the Admissions Office, and Ms. Nguyễn Thị Anh Đào – Head of the Admissions Department. Welcoming the delegation were Dr. Hoang Thi Huong – Permanent Vice Rector of the School of Languages, Humanities and Social Sciences (LHSS), Master Huynh Sang – Head of the Korean Department, and Master Nguyen Thi Thanh Xuan – Deputy Head of the Korean Department, along with other staff and faculty members from the NN-XHNV school.

Dongseo University is one of the renowned universities in South Korea, known for its internationally standardized educational quality, diverse academic environment, and abundant career development opportunities. With strengths in various fields such as communications, business, information technology, design, and social sciences, Dongseo University attracts thousands of international students each year.

The meeting was organized with the goal of facilitating connections between students of the School of Languages and Social Humanities (NN-XHNV), Duy Tan University, and Dongseo University. It provided detailed information and guidance on special scholarship opportunities available for students majoring in Korean Language and the academic programs offered at Dongseo University.

The program is also part of the cooperative activities between Duy Tan University and universities in South Korea, particularly Dongseo University. Through these activities, both parties aim to enhance cultural and academic exchanges and strengthen student connections between the two universities and the two countries in general.
