The Digital Era 4.0 is placing urgent demands on innovating teaching methodologies and enhancing governance efficiency within the university environment. Aiming to keep pace with global technological trends, on the morning of February 26, 2026, the University of Languages and Social Sciences (LHSS) collaborated with the International School to organize an in-depth Workshop themed "Leveraging AI Tools to Optimize Teaching and Operations."

The workshop was designed not merely to introduce new tools, but to focus on transforming work mindsets, assisting faculty and administrative staff in transitioning from traditional working methods to a "smart working" model supported by technology.

The Workshop marked a close collaboration between LHSS and the International School—a unit consistently at the forefront of applying international educational standards and technologies at Duy Tan University. This partnership offered a multi-dimensional perspective: one side possessing profound insight into humanistic academic content, the other demonstrating keen awareness of modern technology.

The Workshop concentrated on two main areas, "Teaching" and "Operations," providing participants with a comprehensive view:

• In Teaching: AI will assist faculty in designing multimedia lectures, creating interactive learning scenarios, automatically grading assignments, and analyzing the developmental pathways of individual students. Particularly for language disciplines (English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean), AI helps optimize translation, editing, and creates virtual speaking practice environments for learners.
• In Operations: AI tools are applied to automate administrative processes, manage records, schedule tasks, and process report data at the General Administration Office. This helps minimize errors, save time, and enhance accuracy in the University's management work.

The Workshop "Leveraging AI Tools to Optimize Teaching and Operations" was not merely a skills training session but also demonstrated the strategic determination of ULSS in implementing comprehensive digital transformation. Mastering AI helps units under LHSS, such as the Faculties of Law, International Relations, Tourism, and the various Foreign Language Faculties, maintain their competitive edge while delivering maximum added value to learners.
