From September 21-23, 2025, the atmosphere at the School of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences (LHSS), Duy Tan University, was vibrant and full of energy as new K31 freshmen officially began their university journey with a series of orientation activities. This meaningful annual event plays a crucial role in helping new students quickly integrate into the new learning environment, while also marking the significant start of an experiential phase.

During the orientation framework, the K31 freshmen were provided with an overview of the LHSS, the learning and training traditions of previous generations, as well as future development orientations. Dr. Hoang Thi Huong - Acting Principal of the LHSS - shared: “We believe that, with the enthusiasm and creativity of youth, the new K31 freshmen will write new, brilliant pages in the School's tradition. We hope that you will study diligently, live actively, and accompany each other to grow and succeed together.”

Notably, students gained a deeper understanding of the training program, university learning methods, approaches to accessing materials, self-study skills, and scientific research methodologies – key aspects that differentiate university from high school. In parallel, the School also emphasized the importance of participating in Youth Union and Association movements, academic clubs, cultural and artistic activities, and sports to develop skills and experiences comprehensively.

Senior students, along with faculty, staff, and the Youth Union - Association Executive Committee, made thorough preparations, from organizational logistics and decorations to program content. This warm welcome not only alleviated some of the initial apprehension of the university "newcomers" but also boosted their confidence and excitement.

Beyond academic content, the K31 freshmen also participated in collective games and team-building activities organized by the Youth Union and the LHSS Club. Moments of singing student songs together and lively laughter during team challenges helped break the ice, allowing students to quickly get acquainted and build a spirit of collective cohesion.

The orientation concluded in an upbeat atmosphere, leaving a deep impression on the freshmen. From the bright eyes and joyful smiles, it was clear that they are ready to embark on a new path – a journey of discovering knowledge, nurturing passions, and pursuing dreams under the roof of the LHSS, Duy Tan University.
