Khanh Huyen Wins National Second Prize and Heads to Global Finals in Singapore

Ho Thi Khanh Huyen, a teaching assistant in the Chinese Language Department and a graduate of the Chinese Linguistics program at Duy Tan University’s University of Languages and Social Sciences (LHSS), has achieved great success.

She and her team won the Second Prize at the National Finals of the 2025 International Student Business Elite Challenge "One Belt, One Road" in China. This victory has earned them a spot to compete in the Global Finals in Singapore.

The competition was hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), the China Cultural and Commercial Association, and the China Economic and Trade Association.

It’s a respected event where international students at Chinese universities and research institutes create business plans to bring products from their home countries to China or from China to other markets, showing real-world business skills.

Khanh Huyen teamed up with four other female students and advanced through three tough stages: university qualifiers, preliminary rounds, and the National Finals, which included 65 top teams.

The National Finals took place in Xi’an City on May 14-15, 2025. Their practical project, sharp presentation, and strong bilingual defense in Chinese and English impressed the judges, earning them the Second Prize. This win highlights their hard work and qualifies them to represent Vietnam at the Global Finals in Singapore from May 29 to June 2, 2025.

Khanh Huyen shared, “Our team is made up of language researchers, so joining a business competition was a bold challenge. From the start, we planned carefully, partnered with companies, and divided tasks clearly.

This award shows our teamwork and effort paid off, and it motivates us as we prepare for the global stage.”

Additionally, Khanh Huyen was one of six international students to receive the "Yang Jie" Scholarship, awarded by Yangzhou Yang Jie Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. This scholarship supports international students from their second year onward who excel academically and actively participate in cultural, sports, volunteer, and social activities.

This honor further proves Khanh Huyen’s talent, drive, and growth in both studies and extracurriculars.
