On the afternoon of September 12, 2025, at the Conference Summarizing Youth Union work and youth movements in schools, and the work of the Student Association and its movements for the 2024-2025 academic year, while deploying tasks for the 2025-2026 academic year, organized by the Standing Committee of the City Youth Union - the Secretariat of the Da Nang City Student Association, many outstanding collectives and individuals were commended. Among them, Cao Chanh Nguyen - Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the School of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences (LHSS), Duy Tan University, was honored to receive a commendation from the Da Nang City Youth Union for his outstanding contributions to Youth Union work and youth movements in schools for the 2024-2025 academic year.

His homeland of Quang Ngai forged Cao Chanh Nguyen with sincerity, dedication, and a passion for contribution. From his earliest days stepping onto the university campus, the young man actively participated in extracurricular activities, particularly Youth Union and Association movements. With a pioneering spirit, dynamism, and youthful fervor, Chanh Nguyen gradually established himself and gained the trust of the collective, holding several important positions in Youth Union and Association work, such as: Member of the Executive Committee of the Duy Tan University Youth Union, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the LHSS, and Secretary of the Law Faculty Youth Union Branch.

Not only serving as a core figure in organizing Youth Union and Association activities, Cao Chanh Nguyen also achieved many commendable accomplishments:

In his role as a Youth Union cadre, Cao Chanh Nguyen presided over and coordinated the organization of numerous practical activities aligned with student needs and the direction of the City Youth Union. These ranged from volunteer movements for the community to campaigns promoting life skills, traffic safety, environmental protection, and the prevention of social evils...

The award from the Da Nang City Youth Union for Cao Chanh Nguyen is not only a recognition of his individual contributions but also evidence of the strong development of the youth movement at Duy Tan University in general and the School of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences in particular. It also serves as motivation for young Union cadres to continue training, contributing, and deepening Youth Union and Association activities, in line with the goals of comprehensive education.
