With the theme "Enhancing People-to-people Exchanges, Strengthening Vietnam - China Friendship," this year's contest attracted nearly 1,000 registered participants from training institutions, Chinese language centers, and localities across the country. This figure demonstrates the strong spread of Chinese language learning and reflects the highly competitive nature of the contest.

After a rigorous preliminary selection round, 25 outstanding contestants from 15 provinces and cities were chosen for the finals. Notably, the LHSS students not only surpassed numerous competitors but also demonstrated confident eloquence, clear thinking, and a poised demeanor – essential qualities for young orators. The "Lien Tam Hoi" team consisted of contestants: Phan Thi Kim Quy, Tran Thi Thu Ha, and Vo Thi Tuyet Giang from the Chinese Language Faculty, LHSS, Duy Tan University.
