On April 22, 2025, the LHSS 2025 Student Sports Festival ended with a heartfelt closing ceremony at Lindo Sport Stadium. The event wrapped up nearly tow weeks of exciting competitions among nearly 300 student-athletes from six faculties of the Language & Social Humanities School (LHSS): Korean Studies, Japanese Studies, English Studies, Chinese Studies, Social Sciences & Humanities, and Law.
The festival showcased 15 sports, with students excelling in both academics and athletics. Their energy, teamwork, and sportsmanship created thrilling moments throughout the event.
Exciting Competions
Classic sports like football, volleyball, badminton, and athletics were crowd favorites. The men’s football tournament, with 26 matches, featuresstunning goals and fierce competition. Women’s volleyball, with 7 matches, impressed with strong teamwork and skill. Badminton shone with 51 matches across singles, doubles, and mixed categories, highlighting speed and strategy.
The 100m sprint and endurance races (800m for woman, 1500m for men) saw athletes push their limits, embodying the LHSS spirit of breaking barries. Indoor events like chess and Arena of valor (Lien Quan Mobile) also drew crowds, with 23 eSorts matches showcasing sharp minds and teamwork. Traditional games like tug-of-war and jump rope, with 6 matches each, brought fun and friendly rivalry.
Building Connections
The festival was more than just sports – it was a chance for students frm different faculties to bond. Cheering fans and a dedicated logistics team created a lively atmosphere. Every match, sprint, and victory brought student closer, fostering unity and friendship.
Many first-time athletes stood out with their determination, sparking a renewed love for sports among students. This energy with inspire even bigger and better festival in the future.

The closing ceremony honored outstanding athletes and teams with medals certificates, and awards. The joy and pride shared by all made the event unforgettable.
