Amid the vibrant emulation spirit of the new academic year, the University of Languages and Social Sciences (ULSS), Duy Tan University, has received a series of good news. The Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association has decided to award Certificates of Merit to the collective DTU Journalism & Communication Club (JC Chance) and two outstanding individuals: Nguyen Trong Hoai Nhan and Hoang Huong Le. This is a prestigious recognition of their persistent efforts in student association work and movements over the past period.

DTU JC Chance Club: The Leading "Frontrunner" in Student Communications
Receiving a collective Certificate of Merit from the Central Association coinciding with its 6th anniversary celebration (January 9, 2020 - January 9, 2026), the DTU Journalism & Communication Club (JC Chance) has solidified its position as one of the leading student organizations in terms of professionalism and influence.

Honored in the collective category, the Club has demonstrated an irreplaceable role in connecting and disseminating student values. Upholding the motto "Understanding - Creating - Spreading," JC Chance is not only a professional practice ground for students majoring in Multimedia Communications and Journalism but also a "home" for breakthrough ideas.
Over the past academic year, JC Chance coordinated numerous large-scale events and produced hundreds of high-quality digital content pieces, contributing to bringing the image of Duy Tan students closer to the public. This Certificate of Merit from the Central Association is well-deserved recognition for a united, creative, and pioneering collective in student activities.
Nguyen Trong Hoai Nhan: A Multi-talented Student Leader
As the "spearhead" leading JC Chance, student Nguyen Trong Hoai Nhan (Cohort K28, Multimedia Communications) has affirmed the capability of a versatile young leader. Achieving a perfect GPA of 3.91/4.0 and an excellent training score of 90/100 (Outstanding category), Hoai Nhan is a prime example of perfectly balancing academics and extracurricular activities.

Receiving this Certificate of Merit from the Central Association is a golden milestone in Hoai Nhan's student life. It is not only a personal reward but also an inspiration for younger cohorts about the spirit of "working hard, playing hard" and responsibility to the community. Sharing his thoughts on this honor, Hoai Nhan expressed: "Holding the Certificate of Merit from the Central Vietnam Student Association, my first emotions are indescribable pride and honor. This is not just a title, but a precious acknowledgment of the efforts that I and my fellow club members have persistently pursued. From the early days of joining JC Chance, staying up all night with friends to complete each project, to moments behind the camera at various events... each experience has been a valuable piece forming who I am today."
"To have this honor, I wish to express my deepest gratitude to the lecturers of ULSS and Duy Tan University, who have always provided support and enthusiastic professional guidance. I also want to thank my companions at JC Chance, who have always been by my side, cheering me on and helping me surpass my own limits," Hoai Nhan confided.
Hoang Huong Le: An Exemplar of Dynamism and Breakthrough
Also receiving this distinguished honor is Hoang Huong Le (Cohort K28, International Relations) – an individual consistently impressive for her dynamism and passion. Huong Le is known as a student active in both academics and extracurricular activities. With acute thinking and strong organizational skills, Le has made significant contributions to the success of numerous communication and volunteer campaigns initiated by the University Student Association. The recognition from the Central Association for Huong Le affirms that at ULSS, every individual has the opportunity to shine if they strive and dare to face challenges.
Huong Le shared: "This certificate is a powerful source of motivation, and also a reminder of my responsibilities as a young person. I promise myself to continue pursuing my passion with full intensity, to never stop learning and contributing, to be worthy of everyone's trust, and to help spread the best values of Duy Tan students to society."
These achievements not only bring pride to the honored individuals and collective but also affirm the reputation of ULSS within the higher education system. They serve as a catalyst for the University's Youth Union and Student Association to continue fostering a spirit of creativity and supporting the comprehensive development of students' skills and ethics. We hope that they will maintain their momentum, continue to contribute, and achieve even more brilliant successes in the future.
