On August 26, the Admission Council of Duy Tan University (Da Nang) announced the admission threshold scores for the 2021 academic year based on the 2021 High School Graduation Examination results.
Accordingly, the admission score is calculated as the total score of 3 subjects + priority points (region & category).
Specifically, the threshold scores are as follows: Medicine, Dentistry – Maxillofacial – 22 points, Pharmacy – 21 points, Nursing – 19 points, and all other majors – 14 points.
Additionally, candidates who do not meet the admission score requirements based on the High School Graduation Examination results may choose to apply based on their high school academic transcripts.
The Admission Council of Duy Tan University also announced that, to support admitted candidates, the University has decided to grant an eVoucher scholarship valued at 2.6 million VND to all candidates who complete online enrollment. This amount will be directly deducted from the first semester tuition fee.
Previously, Duy Tan University had continuously been chosen as the "destination" by several high-scoring candidates. One notable case is candidate Luong Vu Anh Nga (from Tam Ky City, Quang Nam Province), who achieved 27.65/30 points in the High School Graduation Examination, with a near-perfect English score of 9.8 and a Literature score of 9.
Anh Nga enrolled in the Cyber Security program - CMU Standard, an advanced training program from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) – one of the top 4 universities for information technology in the United States (according to U.S. News 2021) – "imported" by Duy Tan University.
