On September 22, 2026, Duy Tan University held a solemn reception and working session with a high-level delegation from Tzu Chi University (TCU, Taiwan). The event marked a new step in the strategic cooperative relationship between the two institutions, opening up numerous opportunities for study, academic research, and international exchange for faculty and students.

Tzu Chi University is a prestigious private higher education institution in Hualien (Taiwan), founded in 1994 by the Tzu Chi Buddhist Foundation. The university is world-renowned in the fields of Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, and Life Sciences, closely associated with the modern Tzu Chi Hospital system.
The close exchange relationship between Duy Tan University and Tzu Chi University has been realized through many practical activities. Previously, in June 2026, students from the Chinese Language Faculty (University of Languages and Social Sciences, DTU) participated in the TEEP 2026 program (Taiwan Experience Education Program), sponsored by the Taiwan government and conducted directly at Tzu Chi University. This experiential trip was not only an opportunity for DTU students to engage in cultural exchange and broaden their international horizons but also a solid bridge affirming the effective and close cooperation between the two universities.

At the working session on September 22, representatives from the University of Languages and Social Sciences and the School of Medicine and Pharmacy (Duy Tan University) joined the Tzu Chi University delegation in sharing development orientations for the coming period. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on key cooperation directions:
- Training and Student Exchange: Expanding exchange programs, short-term and long-term internships for students in the Foreign Language (Chinese) and Medicine-Pharmacy disciplines.
- Scientific Research Cooperation: Promoting joint research projects in the fields of Biotechnology, Medicine, Pharmacy, and Public Health.
- Faculty and Expert Exchange: Creating conditions for faculty and research students to participate in training courses, enhancing professional qualifications and teaching at Taiwan.
The working session concluded in an open, warm atmosphere with promising prospects. Promoting cooperation with Tzu Chi University – a leading medical and life sciences training center in Taiwan – is evidence of Duy Tan University's commitment to continuous international integration, enhancing teaching quality, and creating a globally standardized learning environment for students.
