English Translation and Interpreting
1. General Objectives
The Bachelor of English in Translation and Interpreting program aims to educate graduates who possess comprehensive knowledge, professional competencies, political awareness, ethical values, professional conduct, and good health, enabling them to work effectively in professions requiring English proficiency and to meet the demands of society and the globalized economy.
The program aims to:

Provide students with a broad foundation in the English language, as well as British and American culture, society, and literature.

Develop students' English communication skills to a proficient level for effective interaction in common social and professional contexts.

Equip students with the professional competencies required for careers in teaching, translation and interpreting, business, economics, public administration, and other professional fields.

Foster effective learning skills that enable students to pursue lifelong learning, continuously improve their language proficiency, and develop an initial capacity for academic research in linguistics, literature, and the culture and civilization of English-speaking countries.
2. Specific Objectives
2.1. Knowledge
Graduates of the English Translation and Interpreting program will acquire comprehensive knowledge of the English language and develop the ability to apply English effectively in professional translation and interpreting.
