NewBreath - an exciting event to welcome K30 freshmen of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSSH) at the School of Language and Humanities, Duy Tan University, took place on the evening of October 12, 2024, at Building G, 120 Hoang Minh Thao Street. The program not only provided an opportunity for the freshmen to familiarize themselves with their new academic environment but also facilitated connections and interactions with senior students and faculty members. NewBreath was organized by Multimedia Communication students as part of their "Event Organization" course in collaboration with the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities.
The event ran from the afternoon until the evening, featuring many exciting and engaging activities. During the event, freshmen participated in fun group games that helped them quickly integrate and connect with one another. These games not only served as entertainment but also encouraged communication and teamwork, which are essential skills in a modern learning environment.
The program started with outdoor activities, including a physical team-building game that promoted unity among students. “Sync in Unity” was a checkpoint-based relay game where participants collected colored flags and completed tasks at various stations to reach the final checkpoint and claim victory. The game included five stations combining puzzles and physical challenges.
In the evening, students engaged in a series of stage games under the theme "Journey of Discovery and Creativity with DTUers," including What Do You Know About Duy Tan, Picture Quiz, and Conical Hat Decoration. Additionally, there were vibrant cultural performances by students. The dynamic and youthful melodies conveyed messages of unity, creativity, and the passionate energy of youth. The organizing committee also awarded prizes to teams that excelled in completing the “Sync in Unity” stations.
K30 freshmen expressed their excitement and newfound confidence as they embarked on this new journey at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. The NewBreath event was not merely a welcoming ceremony but also a new beginning, opening doors to meaningful learning and experiences for the freshmen. Wishing K30 a successful and memorable academic journey in the faculty!
