Introduction

Japanese is an Asian country with advanced science and technology, modern education, close cultural and diplomatic ties with Vietnam (established since 1973). In recent years, relations between Vietnam and Japan have been growing stronger. With a total investment of more than $4 billion per year, it can be said that this is a country that invests a lot in Vietnam. By the end of 2019, Japan had 4,190 investment projects in Vietnam with a total registered capital of USD 57.9 billion, second among countries and territories with investment in our country.

Not only potential, opportunities for high-paying jobs good remuneration is the purpose to learn Japanese of many people; culture of life - food - tourism in Japan through media, books, anime, comics ... also brings endless inspiration and passion to many young people. Therefore, besides English, many young people choose Japanese as a second language to study because of their passion, because they realize the huge demand and potential of the market.

Facing the needs of society for human resources operating in the fields of japanese use, the Japanese Department of Duy Tan University Foreign Language School was born with the mission of training high-quality Japanese human resources and scientific research for the socio-economic development of the country. , especially in the Central Highlands.

I. GENERAL INTRODUCTION TO THE TRAINING PROGRAM

2. Training objectives of the Japanese Language Faculty

Objectives of the Japanese Language Faculty are developed in 03 orientations: Japanese for Translation & Interpretation, Japanese for Tourism to train professionals who are highly adaptable, have good knowledge of Japanese and fluent in Japanese at level 5 according to the 6-level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework used for Vietnam; have flexibility, communication capacity, problem-identifying capacity, problem-solving capacity; have soft skills such as communication skills, exploration, thinking, teamwork; knowledge of the local, domestic or international environment, where Japanese is spoken as a foreign language or international language; have knowledge of the vast cultural society; can continue to study on their own, participate in higher education, accumulate personal and professional qualities and skills to become experts, managers and leaders in their professional fields.

II. CONTENT OF THE TRAINING PROGRAM

1. Requirements of the training program
The program volume includes131 credits (not to mention the content of Physical Education (5 credits and Defense Education (165 sections), in which:

General Education Knowledge Block : 43 credits
Physical Education and Defense:  5 credits
Discipline Outline Knowledge Block: 67 credits
Specialized Knowledge Block: 21 credits

2. Training plan

On the basis of the overall content, modules out of a total of 8 semesters of 4 academic years, students choose an average of 16-19 credits per semester, ensuring the requirements of prerequisite modules when choosing.
