As part of the academic plan for the 2023-2024 school year, the School of Language and Social Sciences (LHSS) at Duy Tan University solemnly organized the graduation ceremony for nearly 300 new graduates of the full-time Bachelor's program for the 2023-2024 academic year. The event not only marked an important milestone in the students' lives but also provided an opportunity for them to share the joy and achievements they have attained after years of hard work and dedication.

The ceremony was attended by Professor Le Cong Co, Chairman of the Board of Duy Tan University, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Khanh, Creative Director of Horus Agency, Dr. Hoang Thi Huong, Vice President of LHSS, along with a large number of faculty members, department heads, parents, and students.

In her welcome speech, Dr. Hoang Thi Huong congratulated the graduates for the "fruits" they had reaped after four years of study and extended her congratulations to the parents as well. The graduation rate of the eight programs, compared to the 2022-2023 academic year, nearly doubled, increasing from 30.1% last year to 62.7% this year. "The COVID-19 pandemic caused many challenges – it seemed that even after everything was over, society could not return to normal. The disruptions and changes during this time could have overwhelmed us if we didn’t adapt quickly and lacked resilience. But you have all overcome and achieved results you should be proud of. This shows that the graduates today are more extraordinary than ever," she shared.

On behalf of the graduates, Nguyen Thanh Minh Chau, an Outstanding Graduate and valedictorian of the Multimedia Communication major, expressed: "The nearly four-year journey, filled with countless experiences, cannot be summed up in a few short words. On this special occasion, I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to all the teachers and parents. Today marks the end of our student life, but I hope that all the memories from our university days and friendships will remain forever in our hearts, along with the pride and honor of being a part of Duy Tan University."

The graduation ceremony was held in a solemn and respectful atmosphere, yet full of warmth and closeness. The bouquets of fresh flowers, the happy smiles, and the sincere handshakes were unforgettable images of the graduates’ special day.
