Celebrating the 114th Anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2024) and the 1984th Anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising
With the support and facilitation of the University Council, the Party Committee, and the Board of Rectors of Duy Tan University, the University's Trade Union, in collaboration with the Duy Tan Women's Union, organized a team-building activity at Hoi An Silk Beach Club for all female staff, lecturers, and employees of the university.
The women from the Faculty of Foreign Languages – Social Sciences and Humanities (NN-XHNV) made unforgettable memories on March 8th.
The team-building event was attended by Dr. Huu Phu Nguyen – Vice President of Duy Tan University, M.A. Thanh Duong Nguyen – Chairman of the University’s Trade Union, M.A. Thi Xinh Hoang – Vice Chairwoman of the University Women’s Union, representatives from the Trade Union and Women’s Union Executive Committees, and especially the presence of 396 female staff, lecturers, and employees of the university. The Faculty of Foreign Languages – Social Sciences and Humanities was Team 2, wearing cobalt blue uniforms.
The beach at Cua Dai was filled with cheers and encouragement during the competitions between teams. The team from the Faculty of Foreign Languages – Social Sciences and Humanities, with the spirit of "play hard, party hard," made every effort to perform well in the games organized by the Event Committee (BTC). The women from NN-XHNV wore bright smiles despite the heat and the physically demanding games.
At lunchtime, the entire group participated in mini-games and a cultural exchange at the restaurant area. During the closing ceremony, the BTC awarded the 3rd place overall prize to the Faculty of Foreign Languages – Social Sciences and Humanities. Additionally, Ms. Doan Kim Nguyen Phan (from the Chinese Department) was awarded the highest KPI score among female faculty members for the academic year 2022-2023.
This March 8th, the women shared wonderful moments together. We wish all the women of the Faculty of Foreign Languages – Social Sciences and Humanities in particular, and Duy Tan University in general, continued energy, eternal youth, and charm.
