In the afternoon of 15/10/2022, the 5 best teams from Duy Tan University, University of Foreign Languages - Hue University, University of Foreign Languages - University of Da Nang, University of Economics - University of Da Nang, Vinh University officially competed together at the Final Round of the National English Olympiad 2022 in the Central region. Overcoming the aggressive rounds, The White Knights DTU team excellently took home the Third Prize of the whole team.

The National Specialized English Olympiad was formerly known as the amateur English Olympiad of the University of Foreign Languages - Hanoi National University. The National English Olympiad 2022 with the theme "Vietnamese students: aspiration and creativity" officially launched in June 2022. After an impressive performance in round 2, The White Knights DTU team entered the competition in the regional finals. In this round, the teams will pass 3 sections: the GREETING section, the KNOWLEDGE section, and the Eloquence section.

The DTU White Knights team and your teams have really shined and affirmed the creativity, spirit and aspirations of Vietnamese students as well as their confidence and ability to use English fluently. Members of The White Knights team include 5 students from many different disciplines: Truong Le Ha My (General Medicine), Lai Tan Nam (English Translation and Interpretation), Trinh Thi Khanh Huyen (General Medicine), Nguyen Gia Han (International Relations), Pham Ly Thu Thao (English Translation and Interpretation)

The representative of the group said: "My team has indeed encountered many difficulties and difficulties during the process of participating in the competition, but above all, everyone has encouraged each other to try and overcome all those challenges. If you can encapsulate the spirit of your team when it comes to the Central Region finals in one sentence, it is What doesn't kill us makes us stronger"

Hạ My added: "It's been a few days, but my heart still seems to resonate with the thrill of standing on the final stage that day. Indeed, we have used all our efforts to get to this round. Miraculously, our product surpassed so many teams to get the highest score, advancing to the regional final. Getting here was an accomplishment I couldn't have expected."
