Students from the Chinese Language Department, LHSS, Duy Tan University, embarked on their journey to Phu Ly, Ha Nam on the evening of July 26, 2024, to begin their work at QP Group, Singapore. All travel and accommodation expenses are fully sponsored by the company.

QP Group, established in Hong Kong in 1985, is currently located in Thanh Liem Industrial Zone, Thanh Tuyen Ward, Phu Ly City, Ha Nam Province, Vietnam. The company specializes in providing paper products to customers worldwide, primarily engaged in OEM (B2B) and online business (B2B / B2C / B2B2C). Their main products include greeting cards, educational tools, and paper-based toys. The company currently employs over 2,600 staff and is preparing to expand.

The students from the Chinese Language Department at LHSS, Duy Tan University, are the first group of university students to work at the company. Previously, many students from vocational schools and colleges had interned or worked there, but this is the first time university students have had the opportunity. According to the company, they will train 9 Chinese language students to become managers. This is a positive sign, showing the company’s high regard for the abilities of Duy Tan University students.

The company has many departments, and the 9 students will have the opportunity to work in each department for 2 weeks. As newcomers, each team will consist of two students, providing them with the chance to support each other. During the probation period, the company will assess which positions are most suitable for the students and assign them to those roles after the trial period.
