Upholding the guiding principle of "integrating theory with practice, learning goes hand in hand with action" as a consistent lodestar in higher education, on the afternoon of January 27, 2026, Duy Tan University solemnly held a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony with MKLAW Law Firm LLC and the Vietnam Lawyers Magazine. This event marks a pivotal step in strengthening the relationship between the university and the corporate sector, aiming to adapt to the continuous evolution of the socio-economic landscape and the modern legal system.

The ceremony took place in a formal atmosphere with the participation of representatives from the partner side: Mr. Dang Ngoc Luyen, M.A., Journalist - Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Lawyers Magazine; Dr. Lawyer, Journalist Ho Minh Khanh - Director of MKLAW Law Firm LLC; and Mr. Tran Tuan Loi, M.A., Lawyer - Chairman of the Da Nang City Bar Association. Representing Duy Tan University were Dr. Nguyen Huu Phu - Vice President of Duy Tan University; Dr. Hoang Thi Huong - Acting Dean of the University of Languages and Social Sciences (LHSS), along with the leadership of the Law Faculty, lecturers, and a large number of attending students.

Addressing the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Huu Phu emphasized the importance of connecting with agencies and enterprises to update training programs closely aligned with societal needs and employer preferences. In return, Duy Tan University committed to providing a workforce equipped with modern legal thinking and proficient professional skills, contributing to building a legal culture and a state governed by the rule of law.

Echoing this vision, Dr. Hoang Thi Huong also delivered precise directives to the Law Faculty regarding the effective implementation of the MOU's content post-signing. Representatives from the partner units, Mr. Dang Ngoc Luyen and Mr. Ho Minh Khanh, also expressed confidence in this sustainable cooperative relationship.

The centerpiece of the ceremony was the MOU signing ritual between representatives of Duy Tan University and the leadership of the two partner units, witnessed by distinguished guests. The signing event established a comprehensive cooperation framework, focusing on key commitments to deliver practical value for learners and enhance the prestige of the participating entities. Specifically, the partners agreed on the following commitments: providing professional support and career guidance; cooperation in communication and brand promotion; developing academic and research activities; and ensuring resources and facilities. This linkage not only helps keep teaching content updated to closely match societal needs but also supplies enterprises with a high-quality workforce possessing proficient legal practice skills right from their time at the university.

Immediately following the signing ceremony, the hall atmosphere became vibrant with a Seminar titled "Graduating with a Law Degree: Pursuing the Profession or Taking a Different Path?" Moderated by Dr. Lawyer Ho Minh Khanh, the program became an open dialogue space where students' career orientation concerns were addressed from the perspective of genuine experts. Within the discussion framework, speakers provided in-depth analysis of the continuous evolution of the socio-economic landscape, which necessitates timely legal adjustments. This demands that law students not only master theory but also possess the ability to flexibly adapt to changes in the labor market. Experts from MKLAW Law Firm LLC and Vietnam Lawyers Magazine shared valuable practical experiences, helping students gain a clearer understanding of various career development pathways.

The MOU signing ceremony between Duy Tan University, MKLAW Law Firm, and Vietnam Lawyers Magazine concluded successfully, opening a new chapter in legal education at the university. This serves as a solid foundation for all parties to jointly cultivate value, create a dynamic academic environment, and supply the market with capable future lawyers and legal experts.
