On the morning of November 5, 2025, the Youth Union of the Faculty of Law, University of Languages and Social Sciences (ULSS), Duy Tan University successfully organized a Mock Trial themed "Organizing the Illegal Use of Narcotic Substances." The event, professionally coordinated with the Da Nang City People's Court Delegation and the Da Nang City People's Court Youth Union, offered high practical value and academic significance, contributing to enhancing the training quality for Law students.

Held in a solemn atmosphere, the Mock Trial was a meaningful activity in observance of Vietnamese Law Day (November 9, 2025). The program aimed to foster legal awareness, the spirit of respect for the law, and civic responsibility for Law students in particular and the entire university's student body in general. It also provided learners with an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the meaning of justice and the role of law in modern social life.

The Mock Trial revolved around the case of "Organizing the Illegal Use of Narcotic Substances," a pressing issue of significant social concern. Simulated from real-life contexts, the trial provided students with a dynamic approach to the criminal procedure process, from examination, debate, and prosecution to sentencing. Through this, learners not only grasped the structure of an actual court session but also understood the rigor of the law in the fight against drug-related crimes.

A highlight of the program was the direct participation of students role-playing various positions such as People's Jurors, Prosecutors, Lawyers, Defendants, and other entities in the judicial process. Through this role-playing format, students flexibly applied legal knowledge to practical situations while honing essential professional skills such as:
These skills are not only beneficial for their current studies but also serve as essential preparation for their future legal careers.

The Mock Trial was not merely an academic practice activity but also a "bridge" connecting legal theory and practice, providing Law Faculty students with the opportunity to experience professional models in a simulated professional environment. This activity reaffirmed the training orientation of the Faculty of Law – "integrating learning with practice, linking theory with reality" – while contributing to the development of a cohort of students with solid knowledge, excellent skills, and strong professional competence.
