On December 5 and 6, 2024, School of Languages, Humanities and Social Sciences (LHSS) - Duy Tan University organized the workshop “Crisis Communication Management and Handling” with the participation of Master Nguyen Cong Khanh—a speaker with many years of experience working in the communications industry. This was an opportunity for students to gain additional knowledge and skills in facing and handling communication crises, an increasingly important issue in today's social and business context.

As part of the workshop, Master Nguyen Cong Khanh, with his extensive experience in the communications industry, shared practical and in-depth knowledge about crisis communication management and handling. The workshop took place on the afternoon of December 5, 2024, focusing on risk management, and on the morning of December 6, 2024, focusing on crisis handling. It included theoretical lectures and practical discussions. Master Nguyen Cong Khanh presented extremely important and highly applicable content, helping students and participants grasp the basic steps in handling communication crises:

One of the important factors for effective crisis handling is the early identification of crisis signs. Master Nguyen Cong Khanh shared methods to recognize communication crises from their initial signs, preventing the situation from worsening.

When a crisis occurs, a clear and detailed handling plan is necessary to minimize damage. The speaker analyzed the essential steps in a communication crisis plan, from preparing communication messages to selecting appropriate information channels. He also emphasized that during crises, information must be provided quickly, accurately, and transparently to ensure that the public and partners have a clear understanding, thereby minimizing misunderstandings and instability.
