Comprehensive signing between the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) and Duy Tan University


🎋On the morning of 1/9/2022, at DTU, there was a comprehensive signing ceremony between the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) and DTU.

Duy Tan University and the Southeast Asian Minister of Education Organization agreed to cooperate:

- Coordinate the implementation of higher education programs and projects, especially promoting quality, equity, inclusion, gender equality, and transnational education.

- Organizing conferences, seminars, and training courses in the region to develop the expertise of educators in Southeast Asia;

- Coordinate the organization of the Higher Education Policy Forum in the region;

- Cooperation programs on research and development;

- Exchange and professional development programs;

- Student-focused programs and student engagement in higher education;

Previously, in October 2019, Duy Tan University was honored to be selected by the SEAMEO Secretariat as the host to jointly organize the 6th Conference of the ASEAN Trainee Exchange Network in Da Nang City, Vietnam. This is the first SEAMEO conference held in Vietnam. The conference attracted 160 delegates from 64 educational institutions in Southeast Asia. The conference focused on sharing information on student exchange activities among SEAMEO member schools, contributing to promoting educational, scientific, and cultural cooperation between schools in Southeast Asia and SEAMEO partners.

The Southeast Asian Education Ministers' Organization (SEAMEO) is an international and intergovernmental organization established on November 30, 1965, to promote regional cooperation in education, science, and culture of the 11 MEMBER STATES of SEAMEO including Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, East Timor, and Vietnam.
