Learning and Development Opportunities
Known for its advanced teaching methods, Duy Tan University not only provides students with a solid foundation of knowledge but also promotes practical activities and international exchanges. These efforts create a diverse learning environment and offer students opportunities for comprehensive development. Specifically, students from the School of Language and Social Sciences (NN-XHNV) are always encouraged to participate in hands-on activities to improve their soft skills and build connections with peers from other universities.
The Cognition Internship course is essential for students majoring in Multimedia Communication, especially for third-year students. Through real-world lessons, students gain invaluable insights that are not found in textbooks. This internship is not just about observation; students have the chance to participate in many practical activities, such as image production, video filming, editing, and more. Internship reports play a crucial role in reflecting on experiences, drawing lessons, and providing solutions to encountered challenges. These skills are vital in the Multimedia Communication industry.
Meaningful Exchange - Connecting Students of Two Universities
The highlight of the trip was the exchange event with faculty and students from the Faculty of Social Sciences & Humanities at Quy Nhon University and the School of Language and Social Sciences at Duy Tan University. "Vòng tay bè bạn" (The Friendship Circle) – a special program organized collaboratively by the students from both universities – provided invaluable experiences and allowed for the exchange of knowledge and insights.
The student exchange between the two universities left a lasting impression on both teachers and students. The energetic and enthusiastic atmosphere throughout the program made the event a truly successful and vibrant experience. The event not only brought a fresh wave of excitement to the students of Quy Nhon University but also introduced interesting experiences for students from both schools.
A Memorable Journey
In addition to the student exchange activities, the students also participated in practical experiences, such as visiting the Ghenh Rang tourist area, which offered memorable moments in the "land of martial arts and cultural heaven." They enjoyed the beauty of Hoang Hau Beach with its smooth white sands and two-tone waters. The group visited the tomb of poet Han Mac Tu and listened to the fire pen artist Dzũ Kha tell the poet's life story.
The journey continued with a visit to the iconic Twin Towers (Thap Doi), an ancient Cham architectural structure. Students also had the chance to taste Quy Nhon specialties such as Banh Hoi with pork offal, fish cake noodles (Bun Cha Ca), and Binh Dinh Nem Tre. Passing through the longest sea bridge in Vietnam, Thi Nai Bridge, they arrived at Eo Gio, a majestic location offering breathtaking sunset views. The trip concluded at Thien Hung Pagoda, a sacred and serene place.
These landmarks not only provided the students with beautiful natural landscapes but also inspired many of their communication projects. At each destination, students captured photos, shot videos, and edited content to create quality media products. These activities helped students apply their knowledge in practice, further developing their professional skills.
The "Vòng tay bè bạn" journey between Duy Tan University and Quy Nhon University has brought many valuable experiences to the students. The real-world experiences gained from the Cognition Internship - COM 348 course have helped students realize the value of learning and exploring the world around them, motivating them to continue on their academic and professional journey in the future.
