To commend and reward the groups and individuals who have contributed to the collective achievements of Duy Tan University over the past period, the university organized the 2024 Honors and Awards Ceremony on the afternoon of December 31, 2024. During this event, groups and individuals who have excellently fulfilled their duties were recognized. Notably, the School of Language - Social Sciences and Humanities (LHSS) had numerous staff and lecturers honored on this occasion.

The ceremony began with honoring the staff, lecturers, and employees who have accompanied and contributed to the sustainable development of Duy Tan University for 15 years or more. As of now, the entire university has 258 staff, lecturers, and employees with tenures of 15 years or more. Within the School of Language - Social Sciences and Humanities, many dedicated individuals have been with the university for extended periods, including:

• Ms. Kieu Thi Dong Thanh (English Department Lecturer) with 26 years of service

The university also honored staff and lecturers who have enthusiastically supported and guided students in achieving awards in international, national, and regional competitions outside the university. During the 2023-2024 academic year, faculty members from the LHSS significantly contributed to students' accomplishments, including:

• Ms. Dang Thuy Lien guided students to win Third Prize in the 2024 National Chinese Rhetoric Competition.
• Ms. Hoang Thi Thom guided students to receive Honorable Mention in the Mandarin Bridge Competition.
• Ms. Mai Thi Mai Huong, Ms. Le Thi Xuan Phuong, and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Long guided students to win two Honorable Mentions and the Most Favorite Team in the Creative Students and Intellectual Property Competition.
• Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Na guided students to win two Honorable Mentions, the Most Favorite Team, and the Style Contestant Award in the Law Talent Competition.
• Mr. Nguyen Thanh Khanh guided students to win Third Prize in the 2024 Vietnamese Rhetoric Competition for Foreign Exchange Students.
• Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Xuan guided students to win Third Prize in the Kyeongsangbukdo-Vietnamese Speaking Competition 2024 and Second Prize in the Korean Musical Drama Competition.
• Ms. Pham Thi Minh Hang guided students to win Third Prize in the Central Highlands and Central region Chinese Singing Festival.

The 2024 Honors and Awards Ceremony was not only an event to recognize achievements but also an opportunity for the university to encourage and motivate the spirit of staff and lecturers in their teaching and scientific research endeavors. This event is a source of pride for the individuals and groups receiving awards and serves as a strong motivation for all university staff and lecturers to continue striving and dedicating themselves to the educational and scientific development of Duy Tan University in the future.
